Accommodations
 
The Canad In Destination Center block has been released on January 13, 2008. You can no longer get the group rate, but you can check if they have any rooms available at the regular rate by calling 701-772-8404. Please see the below hotels for other accommodations in Grand Forks.
 

**If you live in Grand Forks, we are looking for host homes for those who cannot afford hotel accommodations. These will be offered to vendors as well as attendees. Please contact Lori Kenney if you are interested at convention@ndhsa.org

Volunteer Opportunities
 
Needed: Responsible teens or adults to volunteer to sit at the Keynote Speakers booth for the 2 days of the convention. You can take shifts if we find enough people, but prepare to work an 8 hour day. Free registration and free lunch to those who volunteer for this job. Contact: Lori Kenney at convention@ndhsa.org
 
Please consider volunteering at this year's convention. We will need greeters, workshop monitors, used book sale helpers, registration table and ushers for offering. You can state your willingness to our volunteer coordinator:

Vendors
Vendor invitation letters were mailed out October 15th so be prepared to sign up early if you receive an invitation. If you would like to be on our vendor list, send your request to our home office: NDHSA, 1854 107th St. NE, Bottineau, ND 58318. Vendors may register for the convention on an invitation only basis - there will be no open on-line enrollment.

Vendor Workshops will be available this year. This is for vendors who would like to demonstrate and/or explain their products or services. All vendor workshop speakers must be first accepted as a vendor. It will be on a first come, first served basis as space will be limited. Cost will be $50 and the workshop will last 1 hour.


Conference Workshop Speaker Opportunities
To apply as a potential NDHSA workshop speaker, please submit a biographical sketch with a photo, your contact information, a title and overview of the workshops you present, references or conferences you have spoken at and  CD of your speaking. All conference workshops are chosen between April - August. After that any information that comes in will be taken into consideration for the following year.
